Hey all! I'm back up for updating on la Bloggage!
The sum of my winter break can basically be summed up like so: awesome, fantastic, beautiful, and something I reeeeeally needed after my first term of college. It was certainly good to see friends and family while I was back home. It took me a day to miss all of you once again (and I apologize to those that I didn't get to see as much - all the more incentive to come visit MEEEEE!)
Ah, well, all I can say is that Winter term may be a little more hectic. Somewhat because I'm taking 16 credits, but also because most of my classes requires LOTS of reading and research papers and that I'm looking for a second job on top of my other painting job. I CAN make it work! Work in the mornings, go to class, then work late at night. I've done it before. I know my limits so no one is allowed to freak out.
However, it is helpful that two of your classes directly links to each other (as my Communications class explains the Mass Media and then in my University Seminar class we're reading "Amusing Ourselves to Death" by Neil Postman who opposes the idea of how the media is being used to communicate with the public. It's...interesting)
Anyway, does anyone remember my hot chocolate journey? Well I think I've compiled enough information to make at least one suggestion every blog (or when I remember to do it). So here's my first suggestion:
---
Badass Coffee Company
143 South Riverside
Medford, Oregon
This company produces Hawaiian grown coffee and imports their stuff around the States (and even in Japan!). A cozy little shack to hang out in for a morning sip or something.
A 16 oz. Hot Chocolate is about $1.75 (this includes tax). It has an incredible rich taste unlike most hot cocoas I've tasted as of yet. It's creamy and you can actually taste more of the chocolate than you can of anything else that may be in there (more than likely, milk and water). Sadly I never finished my drink last time I was there due to some indigestion problems I had, but I would definately drink this daily if there was a Badass Co. in Ashland.
5 out of 5. Highly recommended.

Well that's all I have for you guys this week. It was pretty slow, but next week I'm sure I'll be just as busy as I had been before. Later!
