WOW. It's...Saturday.
Sorry for the day-late post, but yesterday ended up having a chain of events which lead from one thing to another that I was not in control of. In fact, most of it has been used for studying finals for next week. There's only one class I'm worried about, but all my other finals should be fine. The best part is: I'LL BE DONE ON WEDNESDAY. YES!
Ah, counting down the days until Thursday...
Anyway. Besides studying until I can see my own brains squeezing out of my ears, I'm fine. I just wish I was home so I can see family, friends, Seussical, and just away from campus for a while. Though sometimes I do wish Spring Break was a tad bit longer...
So next term looks pretty dandy. I have prop artisan for my theatre practice for the next productions, my friend Meagan got her wardrobe supervisor position (one of the positions she has been seeking), and Becca will be starting her rehearsals for her internship in the coming months (which starts in May).
...And it's March, right? SHOOT, I could have sworn it was only January not too long ago. Funny how that works...
Anyway, it's off to studying again, so I hope y'all are doing well. I will probably not write next Friday considering I will be home by then.
OH. And before I go, I would like to congratulate my father and his fiance, Meagan (a different Meagan, everyone) on his proposal to her and their wedding happening on Sunday. I wish only the best for you two and I hope you guys have fun!
All right, I'm out. Take care!

Think: it's not illegal, yet
OKAY. So let's start off with my Script Analysis class.
So for the past two weeks, my theatre class has been reading and analyzing Death of a Salesman and discussing metaphors, plot points, and taking at least five days to decide who was the protagonist and who is the antagonist. Basically, the wheel is turning but the hamster is definitely dead.
It's funny to have our teacher point out that many of us (me being included in this clump) are, believe it or not, over analyzing the plays we have been reading and thus, thinking too hard. Thus I ask: what is the limit to thinking about something? I mean, apparently I've been thinking too hard this week, from how to produce my papers to finishing my lighting final (which, by the way, had to be completed in two days, this including hanging our lighting instruments, programing cues and making sure our lights work). It's both comical and a little frustrating to know that one can work so hard for something when the project can be just as easy as everyone expects it to be.
Sometimes, I just don't get life.
On some down notes, half of my dreams have been dashed when I was told that all the posters made for the theatre productions are done by any students who qualify for work study. It is not part of the theatre practice curriculum. It's more the principle of the matter that it's not just anyone who wants to make posters, but it's ANYONE who CAN that don't even have to be part of the theatre department. Ugh! So hard to explain.
On some other random notes: I've signed up for classes, Spring Break is coming up, apparently I won two free fighting classes in Medford (...don't ask), and there is a Chocolate Festival here in Ashland that I will be attending very soon!
...In fact, I'm leaving right now. I hope all your guy's weeks have been going so well, and I'd like to thank Mom, Bill, and Grandma and Grandpa Kroner for their lovely packages! Thank you very much, I love you guys!
Well, take care until Friday, everyone!
