Today will mark my official first academic year of college and the last journal until September, when I start school again.
Overall, this first year of college has, of course, taught me a long of things and opened me up to new experiences. As expected. I just don't want to repeat this year again.
I think I did okay on my finals, I spent a lot of time working on my sociology final. Six pages, but I think I gave it a harder time than it deserved.
But I loved my other finals, which was essentially a rewrite of a past paper and costume sketches. Yeah!
So I am back in Portland, spending the night at a friend's house because
1) I'm tired of driving and
2) Kind of shaken up from the near-death accident I almost got in on the highway this afternoon.
Everyone was fine, no car were damaged in the process, but I'll just say that I'll never get into the situation I was in ever again.
EVER.
Anyway, I CAN'T WAIT TO COME HOME! I miss it so.
I hope y'all have a good summer! :) I'll see you guys (blog wise) in September.

I'm very bad at this.
I can't believe this is already my third time forgetting to update a blog on Fridays. I apologize for this dilemma.
It turns out this week has had its ups and downs: I've recently discovered I am practically on the edge of my Sociology course and if I do not do well on my Final...well, it won't be a pretty sight.
This is really the only final I have to really worry about because my USEM final is basically a write up of something I've all ready done and my Elements of Design/Costume Fundamentals finals are costume sketches (I'm very much looking forward to that).
But I'm either making my Sociology final harder than it seems or I'm just easily distracted with trying to pack things away and put into storage over the summer.
Besides the usual feeling of small stress outs and despairs about the fact that I feel like I'm behind in Theatre (as far as starting anything out), there has not been a lot of things going on in my life.
I will be looking forward to coming home, along with working at Burgerville, being involved in a play (as far as my knowledge remembers, anyway) and working on Bill's house/apartment area. Maybe I will relax and study along the way.
Again, I am sorry for the day-late post. My internal schedule hasn't been at its best.
Take care!
