Another week, another learning experience

As with most weeks are. Or days, for that matter.

Anyway, hello again everyone! Another Friday is upon us! Unfortunately, I have little to report since...well...nothing monumental actually happened this week.

Classes are going fine, I've come to the conclusion that my Eng 209 class is essentially a book club within educational reasoning. In a nutshell, all we do is read the book, come to class, discuss the book we're reading, and then go home and read some more. Quite fascinating, really.

Theatre practice is adequate. It turns out I'm doing more than just stitching so hopefully I may be able to pick up my costuming pace even quicker (And for those who don't know yet, I have decided to emphasize in Costume construction/design). Speaking of designs, I've made it a personal project to start designing costumes from plays, both for practice and to show to my advisor, so that she may either critique me or spit on my drawings. Huzzah!

In all reality, this year seems to have less activities than last year, as Freshman year always seems to be the most interesting...

But aside from academics, today consisted of receiving both a seasonal flu shot and the H1N1 nasal spray, so that I may be protected! Although it didn't help that my flu shot needle broke on my arm, only giving me half of the given formula...oops.
And right now my roommate spreads desires to get a fish for our room. A betta fish, nontheless. She seeks companionship from it...while I seek to get another male betta and have them fight and take bets off of it.
...WHAT? It's profitable!
Oh well, I guess that's also illegal, in some cases...

ANYWAY.

Nothing much for me this weekend except looking for more jobs, apartments, and getting ahead on my book club reading. So I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and I'll see y'all next Friday! Take care!
