Phish sticks!

Well, first the important news:

I have a job!!

I regret to say that I work at the local Wendy's®...but at least I am financed for the time being. I have to say, however, it's a LOT different working there than at Burgerville. It's almost kind of a downgrade from Burgerville, actually.

ANYWAY.

That has been the highlight of the week as I watch countless videos on food safety, security, and how to cook fries. Tonight I either actually get to work the fry station...or perform dishes for four hours.

But school has been going good otherwise. Amongst history lectures and power tool orientation, it has been fair. The next book I'm reading for my English class is Windows on the World by french author Frederic Beigbeder. It's an interesting book, but definitely something I would probably not read again. Oh and today I made a push stick (used to "push" small pieces of wood through a large table saw), but it looks like a fish, hence the title of today's blog.

No big plans for the weekend except finishing a history midterm and practicing my chinese for an oral exam monday. So nothing big.

...Except SOME people have decided to celebrate my birthday on Sunday, for reasons beyond any I can think of. Bah. Twenty. My teen life has died.

Anyway, so I hope all goes well for you guys and I will see you next friday! Later~
